The Diary of Anne Frank
Returning to one of my favorite roles
The story of course is that of a young woman who is hiding right in the center of Amsterdam from the Nazi occupation and the inevitabilities of the Holocaust. She wrote one of the most popular documents of the Holocaust from June 1942 until they were found and caught in August 1944.
My final semester of college was spent in Amsterdam where I wrote several term papers on Anne and I first read the book at 8 years old, so the story is near and dear to me. This is my second year as Anne and my third year with the show.
It is quite the honor to have the role, so I hope you can join us. Here is the performance schedule as of March 8. (We've already been up to a week and a half of performances as of this post.)
Most shows begin at around 10am, which I've noted, though next year we'll be having public evening performances!
